Location: The village is situated in North-East Bulgaria (Balchik Municipality, Dobrich District), 15 km. southwest of Balchik and 3 km rom the famous summer resort of Albena. It spreads over the left bank of the Batova river.
A large part of the Baltata nature reserve is included within the boundaries of the village’s adjacent lands. The reserve hosts the most northern and best preserved longose forest in Bulgaria.
